DVNHA has a formal cooperating association agreement with the National Park Service. Cooperating Associations are non-profits authorized by Congress to provide program and financial assistance for interpretation, education, and research in national parks. DVNHA has a separate agreement with the US Fish and Wildlife to support Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.
