Ash Meadows NWR

Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge updates their Facebook Page regularly with events and opportunities. 

The new boardwalks at Point of Rocks and Longstreet Spring have been completed, providing many new opportunities for viewing birds, seeing sites of cultural importance, and even possibly catching a glimpse of the elusive bighorn.  The boardwalk at Crystal Spring is also a great spot to view pupfish and a deep spring pool.

Ash Meadows hosts an  environmental education program, ED Ventures, for local schools in March and August.  Other school groups interested in receiving educational tours at the refuge should contact the Refuge office, 775-372-5435.
