The film reveals the Death Valley National Park as an extraordinary American landscape, rich in natural history and cultural stories.  The film explores the iconic landmarks and hidden treasures of the Park, and shows how the valley was formed by geological upheaval over millennia.  Seeing Death Valley features the unique perspectives of the Native Timbisha Shoshone.  The film highlights the exceptional natural diversity of the Park, from the salt flats at Badwater to the snowy ridges of the Panamints.  It tells the stories of those who came here to dig for fortune, including Water Scott, the notorious rogue who is forever associated with Scotty’s Castle.  This is a presentation of the National Park Service © 2011, produced by North Shore Productions. 5.1 Surround Sound Option as well as optional English Subtitles ad audio descriptions.  Filmed in high definition video with stunning aerials.  Seeing Death Valley captures the essence of Death Valle National Park.  Narrated by Donald Southerland.
