About the DVNHA Board
The DVNHA Board of Directors is a group of dedicated individuals responsible for providing leadership, governance, and strategic direction for the organization. The board’s purpose is to advise, oversee policy, and assist with promoting our mission to preserve and interpret the natural and cultural resources of the Death Valley region, in collaboration with our government partners.
Board members are crucial in guiding DVNHA towards achieving its mission. Board Member Responsibilities
Attend Bi-Annual Gatherings
Participate in meetings held twice a year in inspiring locations.
Drive Committee Projects
Contribute to specific initiatives by serving on various committees.
Advocate for Our Vision
Promote DVNHA’s mission and programs.
Ensure Financial Health
Review and approve budgets, ensuring the organization’s financial stability.
Support Executive Leadership
Assist in evaluating and supporting the Executive Director.
Uphold Ethical Practices
Maintain legal and ethical standards and foster strong partnerships with our key collaborators
