Scotty’s Castle Video Series (2017-2021)
DVNHA has worked collaboratively with the National Park Service to undertake the Rehabilitation of the Death Valley Scotty Historic District through a series of web-based videos.
Project Objectives
- Inform and inspire the public about repairs and renovations at Scotty’s Castle by allowing them to see the progress of repairs through a video format.
- Produce short videos about Scotty’s Castle.
- Provide the opportunity for the public to see what is happening at Scotty’s Castle during the prolonged closure.
- Provide documentation of the project to a broad audience.
- Footage collected during this project will be valuable as a resource for developing a feature-length video of this historic event and its aftermath.
Produced in partnership with Bristlecone Media, The Death Valley Natural History Association, and the National Park Service.
