About the Author
Kimberly Selinske is the park historian for Death Valley National Park and the writer of the brief History Minute series that features glimpses into the park’s museum collections. Since joining the Death Valley team in July 2020, Kimberly has worked on a variety of historical research and collections management projects including women’s history in Death Valley and evaluating historical significance of park resources. In the process of doing those projects, she stumbled across so many interesting stories in the museum collection that she just had to share them with the rest of the park. Kimberly currently resides in Death Valley with her lizard-turned-dog Daisy and her many struggling houseplants.
Thank you again for including me, I hope these history minutes continue to be of interest to DVNHA and your members!
