National Park Week is an annual celebration highlighting the country’s national parks’ beauty, history, and importance. It typically takes place the last week of April (April 22-April 30, 2023). During this time, the National Park Service (NPS) and the National Park Foundation collaborate to promote and celebrate these treasured natural and cultural resources.
National Park Week aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting these unique places and encourage more people to visit, learn about, and appreciate the natural wonders and cultural heritage sites within the national park system.
