About the Death Valley Institute

The Death Valley Institute (DVI) is an integral operation within the Death Valley Natural History Association (DVNHA). Serving as the central hub for program scheduling, DVI orchestrates a diverse array of educational and recreational events that align with DVNHA’s mission. By fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Death Valley region’s rich natural and cultural resources, the Institute plays a pivotal role in furthering the DVNHA’s commitment to preservation and interpretation in cooperation with the Death Valley NP and Ash Meadows NWR.

Proceeds support DVNHA’s mission of preserving and interpreting the natural and cultural resources of the Death Valley region in cooperation with our government partners: Death Valley National Park and Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.
